Welcome! I live in Maryland and make periodic visits to northern Minnesota (where my parents live).

Six lovely cats grace my household. Here you can see snapshots of all of them. When the cats are feeling generous, they will let me use some of "their" stuff - like the bed, couch, kitchen, etc.

On this site you can also see photos from family events like reunions, weddings, and holidays.

I'm a nature photographer focusing primarily on winged creatures in Maryland and northern Minnesota. These more "serious" photographs of dragonflies, butterflies, and birds are displayed on my website, SouthernSpreadwing.com.

Although some of my dragonfly photos have been published worldwide, there's no danger of me ever earning a living by photography! I finance my hobbies by working for NASA as an optical designer/analyst.
